Emerging during lockdown, between Fes and Marseille, Cain و Muchi is a bold departure from the beaten track, fusing traditional music from the Mena region with electronic music. Plunging Arabic languages (Moroccan, Egyptian, Syrian…) into the deep end of experimental music, rap and club music, Vanda Forte and Sinclair Ringenbach work on a sound design and electro orchestration where the crystalline voice tackles social oppression, the world of dreams and political conflict. It’s as transcendent as it is bewitching.
