SPEDIDAM is an organisation which manages the rights and intellectual property of performers. Founded in 1959, it continues to promote performers’ rights in order to guarantee they receive fair pay. It manages and defends their rights, with regard to recording, distribution and retransmission of their works. It also offers grants for new projects, distribution of performances, artistic and cultural education initiatives and artists’ training. SPEDIDAM invites you to an information-gathering meeting where they will present their work and discuss the challenges linked to performers’ rights and their cultural policy schemes.
